$16.45 The song are reflections on pain and beauty. Perry Bowers sings of heartache, loss, loneliness and disillusionment. This album is a poppy, but progressive take on the “conscious rock” of the new millennium. Singer/lyricist T. Let it take you inside the raw and vulnerable center of a singer’s heart beating inside a timeless rock and roll-soul.The ability to morph from a full-out rock band into an acoustic act has enabled 13 Hertz to extend its music to a wider range of music listeners from bar goers to coffee shop patrons who respond enthusiastically to the band's unexpected ability to really rock out at a coffee shop without being too loud Listen to “Bluebird” and you may forget the era in which it was created. One can hear influences of the 60’s and 70’s like Buffalo Springfield, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. They integrate the powerful energy of rock and roll with the sensitivity of meditation and contemplation. “Bluebird” offers longtime 13 Hertz fans and new listeners a mellow mood with a few surprises. 13 Hertz pushes their sound into realms that may not be immediately familiar. The rhythm section, Nathan Fryett on drums and Rob Aurand on bass, gives the album a solidity that can only be reached by creative and experienced musicians. The layered guitars of Charlie Henrikson and Lila Karash provide a bed of psychedelic, inter-dynamic, roots and rock. 13 Hertz fits in with musicians like Ben Harper, Billy Corgan, Stuart Davis and Live. It took 2 years to write and 1 year to record. “Bluebird” is 13 Hertz’ second full-length CD.
