2007 release from the singing/songwriting duo. When they got married in 2001, it was only a matter of time before they would decide to start working together musically. Naomi Anest has been singing for as long as anyone in her family can remember. Naomi and Alex Anest have formed this type of group. Alex Anest has been writing songs and playing guitar since he was old enough to put words on paper. While some people write good songs and others are great singers or musicians, only a few groups can boast of interesting songwriting and the ability to perform those songs well. There are ten great performances on this album reflecting the complete range of Alex and Naomi's performance approach from acoustic numbers to rockers.

A Neil Young-type rocker, “A Shooting Star,” closes the record. The record effectively balances roots grit and country rock coherence. "Bucktown Kickback Mine Alt-Country GOLDDudding — singer, songwriter and creative force behind Bucktown Kickback — produced much of the band’s 2007 disc “Lost In Your Hometown” to sound like prime Appalachia. But the heart of “Lost…” is Dudding’s songs and lived-in vocals. “That’s Life” is a slow burn of honky-tonk molasses. “Seven Number Blues” is an enlightened redneck tune that sounds like a “Basement Tapes” leftover.
