 Eric Andersen Biography
Andersen was one of the very first to follow Bob Dylan's lead as a folk singer-songwriter, and he was a key figure in the '60s Greenwich Village folk scene. His dark but gentle sound focused more on romance and poetry than on the protest songs that were de rigueur. His two albums with Rick Danko and Jonas Fjeld were a '90s high-water mark for Andersen, who has continued to release inspired material into the 21st century.
