| | Best Of The Art Of Noise CD (1988)
$9.09 THE BEST OF THE ART OF NOISE is a slightly misleading title. This ten-track compilation from 1989 contains none of Anne Dudley and J.J. Jeczalik's innovative and groundbreaking collaborations with producer/theorist Trevor Horn from 1982 to 1985 (except in the ...

 Art Of Noise Biography
British pop producer extraordinaire Trevor Horn started out as half of synth-pop duo the Buggles and even had a brief stint in the band Yes before taking on production tasks for a myriad of artists from ABC to Seal. His own creative juices flowed through his group, the Art of Noise, who combined cutting-edge studio techniques with electronic music, dance rhythms, and an unfailing pop sensibility, making everything from stunning sound collages to ethereal ambient music. Incredibly, the group soldiered on for a while without Horn, but the 1990s found him back at the helm, taking time out from his super-producer schedule.
