$9.69 Recorded live at the Rainbow Theatre, London, England on July 1, 1974.

| Whatevershebringswesing CD Import; Remastered
$10.49 Melancholic and reflective, Kevin Ayers' third solo effort, Whatevershebringswesing (this time sans the Whole World as a collective), finds the ultimate underachiever languishing in a realm of ballads, free (for the most part) from the façade and pretensions of prog ...

| Confessions Of Doctor Dream And Other Stories CD (1974) Remastered
$10.49 THE CONFESSIONS OF DR. DREAM is one of Kevin Ayers' best-regarded albums, and it marks his peak in terms of mainstream rock recognition. While it contains some almost glam-rock sounding riffs and accessible melodies, it's a dyed-in-the-wool art-rock classic full ...

| Ye We Have No Mananas CD (1976) Bonus Tracks; Remastered
$10.49 Not long after Island had disposed of his contract, Kevin Ayers hooked up with Harvest once again, releasing the mainstream-sounding Yes We Have No Mañanas in 1976. Although Ayers' symbolic banana references find their way into the title (the banana ...

| Sweet Deceiver CD (1975) Bonus Tracks; Remastered
$10.49 Sweet Deceiver is one of Kevin Ayers' more mainstream efforts. Any album that has Elton John playing piano on a few tracks can't be too weird. That's not to say, though, that this is exactly mainstream in and of itself. ...

| Joy Of A Toy CD (1969) Bonus Tracks; England
$10.49 Ayers left the Soft Machine for a solo career when his basic pop leanings appeared at odds with the intense jazz/rock of his former colleagues. This album was a cult favourite at the end of the 60s for no reason ...

| Unfairground CD (2007)
$9.69 British cult hero Kevin Ayers first came to fame as a founding member of Soft Machine, but his 1970s solo albums brought him acclaim for his distinctive, deep-throated crooning and mellifluous art-pop. A notorious substance abuser, Ayers fell off the ...

 Kevin Ayers Biography
Kevin Ayers was a founding member of the British art rock outfit the Soft Machine, and was a key figure in the late-1960s Canterbury scene, which was year zero for the British prog rock movement. Ayers left the Soft Machine in 1968 to pursue a solo career. While his own music maintained the cerebral edge of his previous band, it was also marked by a decidedly pop-oriented approach. Ayers, who was once asked to be the replacement for Jim Morrison in the Doors, continued to record and perform into the new millennium.
