Be Your Own Pet Biography
Nashville, Kentucky's Be Your Own Pet hit the scene in 2006 with a rambunctious and wholly authentic nod to their idols--namely Iggy Pop, T. Rex, and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. The four high school dropouts, led by charismatic frontwoman Jemina Pearl, signed to Thurston Moore's Ecstatic Peace label, quickly becoming one of the most talked about new bands of that year.
