Beausoleil Biography

The pre-eminent Cajun band of the 1980s and '90s (in fact, they kicked off a Cajun music revival with an appearance in the hit film THE BIG EASY), Beausoleil has recorded some of the genre's most exciting and eclectic music. The heart of the group is fiddler extraordinaire Michael Doucet who successfully combines tradition and innovation.
