Brotha Lynch Hung Biography
Born Kevin Mann, Artist became a fixture of the California hip-hop world from its earliest days in the 1980s and while he never exploded into superstardom, he's remained an important player on the national scene for decades. With flows as provocative as his chosen rapper name, Artist rivaled Detroit's Esham for sinister, sadistic rhymes, unleashing a raw flow rich with tales of drug use, promiscuity, and brutal violence on his controversial 1995 debut, SEASON OF DA SICCNESS. He continued to be prolific for decades, well off the radar of the mainstream, but extremely influential to the darker side of the rap universe.
