 Bobby Brown Biography
Former New Edition heartthrob Bobby Brown had a successful solo career as one of the foremost artists of the New Jack Swing movement. Scoring several huge hits that blended his showmanship dance skills with R&B and hip-hop production, Brown was a true force to be reckoned with in the late 1980s. Although his highly-publicized spats with superstar wife Whitney Houston as well as alcohol-related run-ins with the law didn't do much for his singing career, Brown remained in the public eye and in 2005 became the star of his own reality-TV series "Being Bobby Brown."
