Vashti Bunyan Biography
Vashti Bunyan albums In 1970, British folksinger Artist released her debut album, ANOTHER DIAMOND DAY. She then abandoned the music business for over four decades until she was rediscovered in the early 2000s and championed by a host of young singer-songwriters dubbed "freak folks," chief among them the enigmatic Devendra Banhart. Triumphantly, Bunyan returned to the studio a full 35 years after her debut to record what was only the second album of her career, LOOKAFTERING. A darling of the musical hip in the new millennium, Bunyan also collaborated with the psych-folk ensemble Animal Collective on their 2005 EP, PROSPECT HUMMER.
