In January of 2001, the worship band from Bible Baptist Church of Kokomo, Indiana, joined the vocal trio to form the current group. Our prayer is that each one who hears His message through music will be encouraged and drawn closer to the Creator, our Lord Jesus Christ The CD includes 8 original songs with varied styles ranging from contemporary pop (Believe in Me) to acoustic worship (Lover of My Soul).Artist's mission is to glorify Christ through music. Five years later they began praying that God would provide a band to accompany them. The group began creating original songs during 2001 and produced their first CD in 2002. The band includes Jeff Lowry on keyboards, Brian Bickford and John Cochran on guitar, Peter Kowalczyk on Bass Guitar, and Jim Hubenthal on drums.Artist performs in churches and at music events around central Indiana. Artist started in 1995 when Tammy Arthur, Melissa Litka, and Becky Yoder began singing together.

Dynamic and Spirit-filled are just two ways to describe the music on Artist's initial release, "Waiting".All of the songs on "Waiting" are guitar-driven and lyrically melodic due to the talents of singer/songwriter Christine Duncan and her husband, guitarist/producer David Duncan.This duo has been performing together for over a decade and their band, Artist, is the ultimate realization of giving control of their music (and lives) to Christ Jesus.Musical influences such as David Bowie, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Joni Mitchell and Heart get blended with real-life tales and Biblical-truths to produce a very unique style that moves from AOR heavy rock to acoustic folk but retains a consistent air from song to song; each song sounds different from the last but none sound out-of-place in the mix. From the extreme dynamics of the opening track, "Whole", to the radio friendly "Follow the Leader" and ending with the acoustic "Wherever I go", this disc is an enjoyable journey for the listener.Chris and Dave are complimented on "Waiting" by a host of some of L.A.'s finest musicians; Jeff Frickman, Fin Johnston, Tom Strahle, Scott Mayo, Rique Pantoja and Ingrid Chun all lend their incredible talents to this disc
