Clint Black Biography
With a vocal style strongly reminiscent of Merle Haggard, and a songwriting approach influenced as much by James Taylor and Jimmy Buffett as by any country artists, Texan Artist became one of the most successful and respected country artists of the 1990s. Co-writing every one of his numerous hits, Black brings a highly personal style to his music that is somewhat uncommon within Nashville. A fine guitarist and producer as well, Black has collaborated with artists like Roy Rogers, Martina McBride, Wynonna, and his wife, Lisa Hartman Black, with great success.
