Cluster Biography
Cluster CD discography This German duo's '70s albums pioneered the use of pure electronic music in an ostensibly "rock" context. Though Artist's proto-ambient early work utilized industrial-oriented sounds, it was far more atmospheric than the industrial music they helped inspire. Artist's later work, including a collaboration with Brian Eno, leaned more toward melody and rhythm than their classic free-form recordings.
