| | Rescue CD (2002)
$13.39 "The Camel City" evokes the slick psychedelic rock of Pink Floyd circa A Momentary Lapse of Reason. "Southie" couples vocal pleas with melodic grandeur and then adds in some metal bombast. When all is said and done, Codeseven manages to totally confound listeners' expectations with a resonant album poised for wide appeal. The title Rescue says it all: This isn't death metal, doom metal, or nu-metal -- far from it, the record is part emo, part pop, and a little metal. The dark atmosphere of "Sounds of Cyan and Magenta" sounds closest to Echo & the Bunnymen and "Smell of Yellow and Black" is pure space rock, with vocals that conjure up Jeff Buckley. Like the Deftones, Codeseven mixes its metal history with emotional pop influences for a record that really transcends genre.

| Sense Of Coalition CD (1998)
$13.99 From the heartbreaking melody of "Menthol Kings" to the excruciating screams which explode out of the speakers on the old-school thrash anthem "Daily Ethic," the listener will be hypnotized and viscously beaten by Codeseven's volatile concoction. This six-piece hailing from North Carolina has seemingly collected all their favorite elements from their record collection and compacted them through a siphon, allowing only the genre's life fluid to leak through into their exquisite 11-track disc. Codeseven melds spastic hardcore with upbeat punk stylings and layers the music with incredibly beautiful singing that could melt even the coldest heart on their 1998 album, A Sense of Coalition. At times vocalist Jeff Jenkins carries a light-as-a-feather croon similar to Deftones' Chino Moreno, yet Jenkins comes across as having a much more delicate voice.

| Division Of Labor CD (1999)
$13.99 Division of Labor is the follow-up to Codeseven's 1998 full-length album, A Sense of Coalition, and to say the risk in making this album was great is being polite. In many hardcore fans' minds, Coalition was the epitome of perfect
