Rumored to be the last album by A Tribe Called Quest, THE LOVE MOMENT brings listeners back to the elements that made the group famous: beats, rhymes, life, and the added element for this fifth album, love. Where songs like "Find A Way" and "The Love" are reminiscent of the abstract sound that the trio best exemplifies, new flavors like "Give Me" and "Steppin' It Up" show their diversity. The Ummah, a production team made up of Tip, Ali and Jay Dee, has brought a slightly newer twist to Tribe's music. So after a ten-year run, Q-Tip, Phife and Ali Shaheed are closing down shop, but not without leaving us one last gem by which to remember them.
