 Danzig Biography
After doing time in such influential 1980s punk bands as the Misfits and Samhain, singer Glenn Danzig returned to his bluesy metal roots in 1987 with his solo outfit, Danzig. The lyrics were still dark and demonic, but Glenn's vocals became more Jim Morrison-like, while the music recalled doom godfathers Black Sabbath.
