 Datarock Biography
With a carefully crafted stage show comprising red tracksuits and boundless energy, Datarock, the Norwegian duo of Fredrik Saroea and Ketil Mosnes, were swiftly dubbed as part of a loosely defined musical style the '00s British press dubbed "new rave" (with Klaxons, Hot Chip, CSS, and others). Stirring together elements of early disco, latter day '80s synth pop, art rock, and funk, the pair created an electro-indie sound all its own, gathering an international following in no time.
