Sammy Davis Jr Biography
A true renaissance man, Artist. was a gifted singer, dancer, and actor. He's best known as a member of Sinatra's Vegas Rat Pack clique, with whom he made films and appeared in concert. On his own, he was one of the foremost singers/showmen of the '50s and '60s, and recorded countless fine albums that occasionally bore a jazzier touch than his peers. His big '70s pop hit "The Candyman" and show-bizzy image sometimes overshadow the bulk of a substantive career on par with those of his Rat Pack buddies.
