Danielle Dax's strange shot at pop stardom, 1990's BLAST THE HUMAN FLOWER finds the goth-influenced British singer/multi-instrumentalist working with renowned producer Stephen Street. Standout tracks include Dax's cover of the Beatles' dark psychedelic masterpiece, "Tomorrow Never Knows," and the catchy "Big Blue '82." After this underrated album, Dax took a long hiatus from recording, and largely retired from the music industry.
