 Devotchka Biography
Although the Colorado-based DeVotchKa has been recording and performing their unique hybrid of Eastern European folk and sweet indie-pop since 1995 (at one time providing musical backing for striptease artist Dita Von Teese), the band entered the public arena in a big way when they scored the Sundance film hit LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE in 2006, along with more experienced movie composer Mychael Danna. Since then, the band has toured the world and released their fifth album and an EP, both of which garnered excellent reviews.
