Michael first picked up the guitar at age 16, but he has been singing all his life. Through September 30, 2005 - All Proceeds from this CD are being donated to the Red Cross disaster relief fund!Michael Eagleson has been playing the Atlanta music scene since 1995, but his musical history began many years earlier. While in elementary school, Michael learned to play the saxophone, and it wasn't until high school that he decided to pick up the guitar. While attending the University of Illinois, he formed an original band called Huge and later played the campus music scene both as a solo act and as an acoustic duo known as Redhead Lunch. Later, Michael also began experimenting with the harmonica, drums, percussion, and any other instruments he could get his hands on.While in high school, Michael was the front man for several ever-changing garage-band lineups. He began singing in the Children's Choir at the First United Methodist Church of Mattoon, Illinois, at just 3 years of age, and started taking piano lessons at 5.
