| I'll Sleep When You're Dead CD (2007)
$12.25 On his highly anticipated release, I'LL SLEEP WHEN YOU'RE DEAD, New York indie rap hero and the man behind Definitive Jux delivers just what rap fans have come to expect--namely, a hodge-podge of space-age, boundary-pushing production wizardry and stream-of-consciousness lyricism ...

| High Water CD (2004)
$13.45 El-P's entry into Thirsty Ear's Matthew Shipp-curated Blue Series is a compelling experiment in genre and sound collision. El-P doesn't rap on this set, nor does he saturate his mix with a truckload of effects. His compositions are skeletal frames ...

| Fandam Plus: Instrumentals, Remixes, Lyrics And Video CDs (2002)
$9.89 Much as his work with Cannibal Ox proved before, El-P is truly one of music's most innovative, idiosyncratic producers, fusing the blunt crudeness of early-'80s hip-hop with the futuristic sweep and experimentation of progressive pioneers like Brian Eno and Can. ...

| Fantastic Damage CD (2002)
$11.45 Formerly a member of the seminal New York progressive/underground hip-hop crew Company Flow, El-P has made a name for himself in a crowded market with a churning musical and lyrical style that's reminiscent of an updated Sly Stone in his ...

| Collecting The Kid CD (2004) Limited Edition
$12.55 Gathering El-P's whims and whatnots, Collecting the Kid is a surprisingly purposeful full-length that hangs together despite its pedigree. Instrumentals that were rejected by rappers, raw tracks that haven't found a home, and bits of El-P's soundtrack to the Bomb ...

| El-P appears on Atmosphere Lucy Ford CD (2000) Extended Play
$12.95 The opening track on Lucy Ford, "Between the Lines," burrows into the heads of a frustrated policeman, an oblivious young girl who watches movies perpetually to get away from her own life, and an indie rapper who descends into self-abnegation ...

 El-P Biography
El-P (a.k.a. El-Producto) was one half of the groundbreaking 1990s underground hip-hop act Company Flow. Following the break-up of CoFlo, El-P turned his efforts toward his solo career and running the esteemed label Def Jux. In addition to releasing critically lauded records by himself and other underground heroes such as Aesop Rock, Cannibal Ox, and Mr. Lif, Producto also brought his unique production sense--marked by hectic, dense soundscapes--to bear on many of those artists. El-P has devoted himself to maintaining the true spirit of hip-hop in the face of a total mainstream takeover.
