 Exploited Biography
Though they arrived in the second wave of UK punk in the early 1980s, Scottish punk stalwarts the Artist proved to be one of the longest-lived punk bands ever. Led by singer Wattie, with his trademark mohawk haircut and barking vocal style, the Artist bashed out songs about war, crime, poverty, and of course, punk, keeping the spirit alive long after the bulk of their contemporaries crashed and burned.
