Explosions In The Sky CD discography Austin-based quartet Artist are frequently referred to as "post rock" due to the fact that they are an instrumental group, but their cinematic, stately compositions draw from a number of sources. Together since 1999, the band's seasoned three-guitar and drums setup allows for dynamic layers of interplay that can be overwhelming in their intensity or languidly beautiful, often in the same epic-length track.
