| | Nod Is As Good As A Wink... To A Blind Horse CD (1971)
$16.39 (MP3 Available for Download) The group includes enough heartfelt ruminations to add a sentimental edge to the otherwise rip-roaring mix of material. Among the latter class of songs are a shambling cover of Chuck Berry's "Memphis, Tennessee" and "Stay With Me," the Faces' only ...

| Ooh La La CD (1973)
$6.45 (MP3 Available for Download) By the time the Faces' fourth album came out in 1973, Rod Stewart had already become a solo superstar, causing stresses within the band. Stewart and founding member/bassist Ronnie Lane reportedly fought throughout the making of OOH LA LA, particularly ...

| Long Player CD (1971)

 Faces Biography
As the swinging 1960s turned into the '70s, UK mod/psych-pop heroes the Small Faces splintered into different directions, one of which was the Faces. Fronted by future Stones guitarist Ron Wood and future superstar Rod Stewart, the Faces were one of the key rock & roll bands of the early '70s, a brash, swaggering, alcohol-fueled font of bluesy, good-time music. Over time, Stewart became focused on his solo career and the Faces (who also backed him on his own albums) took a back seat. By 1975 the band fell apart. Subsequently, Wood joined the Stones, Ronnie Lane went solo, and Kenney Jones replaced Keith Moon in the Who.
