The Flys were one of the "graduate" bands of the 1978 punk rock scene--they played fast, loud but tuneful, witty, and short, and WAKIKI BEACH REFUGEES, from the same year (rereleased 2001), was their sole testament. Includes the singles "Name Dropping", "Fun City", "Beverley" and the acknowledged Punk classics "Love And A Molotov Cocktail" plus the title track. First time on CD for the debut album from the vastly under-rated Flys. With the Flys best sampled via a "best of" collection that sweeps away the chaff with which they surrounded the handful of classics that assured their immortality, this reissue of the group's debut album goes at least some of the way toward fulfilling that ideal.
