Four Tops Biography
Immaculate choreography, flawless harmonies, and the instantly recognizable lead vocals of Levi Stubbs made the Artist one of the best and longest-running groups to come out of Berry Gordy's Motown hit factory in the 1960s. Their interpretations of Holland-Dozier-Holland's songs ("Reach Out I'll be There," "Standing in the Shadows of Love," "Bernadette," et al) rank them as one of the premier soul vocal groups of all time. Incredibly, they kept the same line-up for over 40 years (only shifting when the first member died).
