 Stephane Grappelli Biography
Possessed of a particularly limber and graceful style, Parisian Stephane Grappelli is one of the greatest violinists in all of jazz. Though he will always be linked with Django Reinhardt via their magical work together in pre-WWII France, Stephane lived a very long and fruitful creative life after their association ended, performing and recording regularly with a wide variety of musicians right up until his passing at 89 in 1997.
