Although his main instruments are guitar and keyboards, he also plays drums, bass, percussion, and several other instruments, in addition to singing. He is a member of the Toronto, ON based band "The Bluesers" and is an organist at Blackwell Chapel AME Zion Church.In 2007, Cale Hawkins won the Memphis Bound Blues Competition in Buffalo, NY, recognizing him as the best solo blues musician in the area. Cale played every instrument on the CD and sang as well. "Chrome" incorporated a variety of genres into its tracks, including rock, jazz, the blues, and R&B. Cale Hawkins is a 16-year old musician from Bemus Point, NY. He represented Western New York in the 2008 International Blues Challenge as a solo artist.Cale Hawkins also released his first full-length CD in 2007, entitled "Chrome". "Chrome" received honors as the CD of the Year at the Chautauqua County Music Awards and from the Chautauqua WORD magazine.In 2008, Cale Hawkins joined the Bluesers, a Toronto based band, as their keyboardist and is set to perform with them in the 2009 International Blues Challenge.
