The Heathens are Matt Butcher (vocals, guitar), Chris Rae (bass, vocals), Jeff Ilgenfritz (drums, vocals, harmonica), Sean Moore (violin, trumpet, vocals), and Chris Cucci (banjo, guitar). The album was recorded by Rob McGregor (producer of albums for Hot Water Music, Rumble Seat, Alkaline Trio) in Gainesville, FL. The Heathens’ five members come from a variety of musical backgrounds that all contribute to their sound which blends Americana, folk rock, alt-country, twee, 60s pop, and indie rock.
