 Lauryn Hill Biography
Exploding into super-stardom, actress/singer/philanthropist Lauryn Hill has become an icon of social consciousness. Influenced by Bob Marley, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, and the whole of '60s and '70s protest music, Hill first garnered public attention as the frontwoman of the Fugees. Their platinum-selling THE SCORE was followed by Hill's five-Grammy-winning solo debut. Hill has since rejected the spotlight to raise her child, fathered by Bob Marley's son Rohan.
