He has been a song writer from his early teens, in the beginning heavily influenced by song writers like Buddy Holly, Lonnie Donegan, Roy Orbison, Carole King and then, later on, by Woody Guthrie, Dock Boggs, Robert Johnson, Lightnin´ Hopkins, Bob Dylan and Swedish folk singers. Out of this potion he has produced his own, very unique style of singing and playing. Ingemar E. Nilsson is born in Gothenburg on the west coast of Sweden. He has formerly recorded three albums - "Blod & aska" (Blood & Ashes, 1978), "Himmel av järn" (Sky of Iron, 1985) and "Gårdagens rester" (Yesterday´s Leftovers, 2000) - and has now "returned" with the CD "Samma kärlek, samma regn" (Same Love, Same Rain, 2004). These fourteen songs are a road movie through the landscape of mind and memory.
