Pirroni's 50's style twang guitar is a complementary counterpoint to Ant's British pop stance. Elsewhere, the album chugs along with a heavy backbeat and piping horns, giving "Friend or Foe," "Place in the Country," and "Crackpot History and the Right to Lie" a percolating feel. "Here Comes the Grump" and "Made of Money" both benefit from his reverb-drenched guitar lines. The latter features a multi-part acapella section, a first for Ant.
2008 jewelcase pressing of the digitally remastered and expanded edition of Adam's hit album, originally released in 1982, including 12 bonus tracks.
