Grace Jones Biography
Jamaican singer and actress Grace Jones started out as a model, but her outrageous attitude and unforgettable look transferred well to the pop music arena. Beginning in the late 1970s, Jones made a series of highly regarded albums mixing torch songs, disco, reggae, funk, and New Wave in a highly original manner. In retrospect, her eventual move into cinema seems inevitable. In the '80s and '90s Jones appeared in the hit films BOOMERANG, A VIEW TO A KILL, CONAN THE DESTROYER, and others, proving her to be a true renaissance woman.
