JUSTONFRIDAY Head members and owners of the JUSTONFRIDAY band Robert Steven Jones and Lee Thomas Harris have come a long way from their small beginnings in Mississippi. This new CD, album named Gone Country features a little bit of upbeat country mixed with slow melow ballads and love songs. , Vern Gosden, Shoji Tabuchi(one of the world's greatest fiddle players), Freddy Weller (former member of Paul Reveer and the Raiders), Nat Stuckey, Cal Smith, Ace Cannon, Murry Kellum and many others.Both men play numerous instruments. Neither are limited to just one kind of music. The next tour is in January 2007 Their styles of music are spontaneous and come from the heart and soul. Tommy, on the other hand ventured out around the world touring and pushing records around the United States then worked his way into China and back again.Tommy (a piano player & vocalist) and former band the Jay Walkers have opened for entertainers such as the Bellomy Brothers, Hank Williams Jr. Mississippi. The relationship went from there and now the two are best friends. You can also find their pop CD Just Monday and Gospel album CD Jesus Is Knocking also on this site (CD Baby).Steven and Tommy met after Tommy worked as a guest at the Depot in Meridian,Mississippi. Both men have worked in the small and large night clubs trying to make a dollar to survive.Steven spent most of his life playing guitar in the Mississippi area but played some blues and rock in the New Orleans and Alabama area also.
