Less Than Jake discography Formed in Gainesville, Florida, during the early 1990s, Artist made its first big mark on the musical map with `96's LOSING STREAK, a collection of caffeinated ska-punk tunes. Although the band seemed destined to fade like many other third-wave ska acts, the group rebounded from a slump with `03's highly melodic ANTHEM, allowing LTJ to have a second lease on its musical career. Artist boasts a strong connection to the highly influential Fueled By Ramen label, which was started by drummer Vinnie Fiorello and groomed the renowned emo ensembles The Academy Is. and Fall Out Boy.
