Magic Numbers Biography
Made up of two brother-sister pairings, the Artist take a distinctly different approach to the concept of Brit Pop. While certainly melodious, they have considerably more flower power than their punky brethren of the early 2000s. Incorporating folk, Fillmore West psychedelia, and gorgeous harmonies that have earned them just comparisons to the Mamas & the Papas, the Artist garnered substantial critical praise upon the release of their 2005 self-titled debut.
