This prog super-group, comprising members of the Flower Kings, Van Der Graaf Generator, and Parallel or 90 Degrees, epitomize the best aspects of the so-called Canterbury school of British spectacle. On their fourth studio album, longish, ambulatory song structures and an energetic mood provide an uplifting and engaging listen that will make older prog fans nostalgic for the 1970s, while demonstrating to younger listeners just how it's done.
Progressive rock, for the most part, has not been known for having a strong sense of humor.
