Recorded at Cove Island Studios, Stamford, Connecticut. A Whistle on the Wind is an album of Celtic music by award-winning tin whistle and flute player, Irish-American Joanie Madden. Included on this album are award-winning fiddle player Eileen Ivers, Johnny McDonagh from De Dannan and Arcady on percussion, and Gabe Donohue on guitar, bouzouki, acoustic bass and piano. Madden's playing has caught the attention of some of Ireland's great musicians, including Liam Clancy, Tommy Makem, and Sinead O'Connor.
