Primarily a novelty item for baseball fans--Red Sox fans especially--NEVER SLOW DOWN, NEVER GROW OLD finds lauded baseball scribe Peter Gammons running through a diverse set of mostly covers and a few originals with help from the likes of George Thorogood, Juliana Hatfield, and various musically inclined BoSoxes. Sure, it's fun to hear Gammons jam with Trot Nixon and Tim Wakefield, but the highlight is undoubtedly Gammon's remarkably spirited cover of the Clash classic "Death or Glory." While NEVER SLOW DOWN, NEVER GROW OLD isn't essential, it was done for a good cause (Sox GM Theo Epstein's A Foundation to Be Named Later), and Gammons's love for the music rings true.

We are proud to present the self-titled debut album from Hilken Mancini (guitarist/vocalist of Fuzzy) and Chris Colbourn (bassist/vocalist of Buffalo Tom). A Freak Scene indeed.Over the years these two minor league stars collected plenty of stories, touring scars, and an impressive guitar collection. Alternative rock fueled by Nevermind major label budgets. Collaborating came naturally; the two began writing and recording an album together. One afternoon at her kitchen table, Hilken showed Chris a couple of songs she had been sketching on guitar. Along with their friends in the Lemonheads, Dinosaur Jr., and Belly, Fuzzy and Buffalo Tom helped place Boston on the US indie rock map in the early '90s.
