Issued in 2008, 21st CENTURY GIRL presents another set of lounge-ready tunes by singer/guitarist David Brown (aka Brazzaville). A native of Los Angeles, the husky-voiced Barcelona-based performer clearly draws on a Spanish influence at times, as best revealed on the drifting "Aging Queens" and "The Clouds in Camarillo," an inventive electro-tinged number.
