Since the late 1970s, Artist has released a steady stream of likeable pop-rock albums in the vein of Bob Seger, John Mellencamp, and Bruce Springsteen, with a dependable supply of hit singles such as the indelible rocker "Two Tickets to Paradise" and his duet with Ronnie Spector, "Take Me Home Tonight."
