Giorgio Moroder Biography
Italian songwriter, producer, and recording artist Artist is one of the most important figures in the development of techno and electronic dance music. The 1977 single "I Feel Love," a collaboration with Donna Summer, is cited by many as the very first techno record. Moroder has worked with a Who's Who of contemporary pop stars, including Blondie, David Bowie, Janet Jackson, and Elton John. Moroder is also a renowned Oscar-winning soundtrack composer, penning scores for films such as MIDNIGHT EXPRESS, SCARFACE, AMERICAN GIGOLO, and FLASHDANCE.
