$19.09 This two-disc set from Shout Factory collects 32 tracks by Mott the Hoople and the band's frontman Ian Hunter. A straight-ahead rock-&-roll band that garnered a solid cult following during its time together, Mott the Hoople's biggest contribution to rock ...

| Mott CD (1973) Bonus Tracks; Remastered
$8.29 Digitally remastered by Larry Keyes (CBS Records Studio, New York, New York).
Mott The Hoople are often associated with the '70s glam movement, but their only real connection to that style was their involvement with David Bowie. In fact, the band ...

| Mott The Hoople CD (1969)
$10.59 From the brilliant cover illustration by M.C. Escher to what nearly every critic called a "straightfaced" version of Sonny Bono's "Laugh At Me" (as though it was impossible to perform it any other way), Mott The Hoople's debut album showed ...
|
| Brain Capers CD (1971) Bonus Tracks
$14.35 Though it predates the the group's breakthrough 1972 hit "All the Young Dudes" by a year, Mott the Hoople's BRAIN CAPERS is easily the band's best and most consistent album. Mott's first two records, MOTT THE HOOPLE and WILDLIFE, were ...
|
| Wildlife CD (1971) Bonus Tracks
$14.35 Principally recorded at Island Studios, London, England in November & December 1970. Originally released on Atlantic.
For its second album, 1970's WILDLIFE, Mott the Hoople moved away from the tipsy, BLONDE ON BLONDE-like reels of the band's self-titled debut, into a ...

| Live Fillmore West: San Francisco CD (2006) England
$14.35 In 1970, Mott the Hoople embarked on a U.S. tour, closing out their excursion that July with a four-night extravaganza at the Fillmore West, second on the bill to a headlining Quicksilver Messenger Service. It wasn't the band's first trip ...
|
| All The Way From Stockholm To Philadelphia: Live 71/72 CDs (1998)
$15.79 There isn't much revelation here as far as songs that can't be found on Mott's studio albums, or in radically redefined interpretations of early-'70s material. Still, this double-CD of previously unavailable live concerts is a worthwhile document for serious Mott ...
|
| Fairfield Halls, Live 1970 CD (2007) England
$14.35 Prior to the release of the (at the time, disappointing) Live album in 1974, the only officially available record of Mott the Hoople's live prowess was one track tacked onto the end of 1971's Wildlife album, a protracted take on ...

| Greatest Hits CD (1975) Bonus Tracks; Remastered
$5.95 Recorded between 1972 & 1974. Includes liner notes by Ben Edmonds.
Released in 1975, as Mott the Hoople was slowly disintegrating, GREATEST HITS is a slightly odd representation of the band's years at Columbia. Although the band's breakthrough hit was its ...

 Mott The Hoople Biography
While most rock fans remember Mott The Hoople as a thriving early-'70s glam band, they were also one of the first British bands to serve as a mouthpiece for the working class (predating both The Sex Pistols and The Clash by several years). Led by singer Ian Hunter and future Bad Company guitarist Mick Ralphs, Mott could rock out and pose with the best of 'em.
