 Anne Murray Biography
Anne Murray is one of the most popular female Canadian singers of all time. Murray's mellow pop songs, marked by simple folk structures and sung in an amiable country twang, made her a huge star during the 1970s in both her homeland and the United States. She's collaborated with a wide and varied list of performers, and has had enormous success on both the Billboard pop and country charts. During the 1990s Murray had a successful run in Las Vegas, and then went on to release a successful and diverse array of albums that showcased her versatility, talent, and staying power.
