| Musab Slicks Box CD (2007)
$10.09 At times, his mellow-voiced, confident smooth-talk conjures LL's middleschool work, particularly on the slick tracks "Please Do Not Assume," "Hat & Shoes," and "Confessions of MN Slicks."
Recording information: Squirrels On The Moon.
Photographer: Rodd Buckle Playing up his alleged past as a street-pimp (as he claims, "My team took all the clientele from Heidi Fleiss"), Musab goes by the alias Minnesota Slicks, putting together 12 smoothed-out players' anthems, heavy on 1970s funk and soul samples. Down with the Minnesota collective Rhymesayers, the MC known as Musab presents his sophomore release, SLICKS BOX, on the famed Oakland-based label Hieroglyphics Imperium.

Musab CD discography
$11.39 MC Slug's style lies somewhere between that crew's Del Tha Funkee Homosapien and the immediacy of Rakim, as he alternately delivers rhymes that touch on conventional rap and misfit story-poems.
Intl Prssng 2CD.1st Time On CD Vol.7 Of Headshot Cass Series
Recording information: 1997-1999.
Photographer: M. While Slug's lyrical musings are often the focal point of the tracks, Ant's beats are underrated, and his early work, clearly influenced by Eric B., often shines with playful brilliance. However, Atmosphere's music is ultimately rooted in traditional hip-hop, perhaps closest to Oakland, CA's Hieroglyphics collective in its heyday of the early 1990s. Initial pressings include a bonus CD featuring the best from HEADSHOTS volumes 1-6.
Over four records, the Minneapolis, MN's Atmosphere has cultivated a sizeable underground following, often blurring across genres and even releasing a record on the punk-oriented Epitaph label and appearing on the ninth installment of the PUNK-O-RAMA series. Ward.
HEADSHOTS: SE7EN captures the outfit in its formative years, concentrating on tracks Atmosphere recorded between 1997 and 1999. On tracks like the carnival-esque "The Jackpot" and "Swept Away," Atmosphere even recalls the early days of De La Soul.
