While the Bon Jovi and Michael Jackson influence is subtle in their music, the influences of Deftones and Sevendust are more prominent. Since their inception in 2004 they have shared the stage with He is Legend, Far Less, Every time I Die, Dog fashion Disco, Gretchen and more. With the support of Redwall Music, Artist plans to release their freshman effort You Can Be All Flame recorded by Jamie King (Beloved, He is Legend, Far-Less) in spring of 2007. Nonetheless, Artist has managed to make a record that does not sound like the daily grind released day after day in the rock market. This disc showcases Artist's original blend of Rock, Metal and Hardcore music. After playing as much as possible becoming a fixture in the local VA, NC, TN scene, Artist inked their 1st deal with Redwall Music in 2006, and have been touring full time ever since. Formed in 2004, Artist has shared the stage with such bands as He is Legend (Tooth & Nail), Farless (Tooth & Nail), Every Time I Die (Solid State), Dog Fashion Disco, Gretchen, The 7 Method and more. From South West Virginia, Artist is a mixture of melodies, screams, heavy riffs, pounding beats and piercing lyrics that cut straight to the heart and soul.
