Though Damon Gough (AKA Badly Drawn Boy) appears to have rather poor math skills, his fourth album, ONE PLUS ONE IS ONE, reveals that the British singer/songwriter still has a way with beautiful melodies. Formerly hailed as the UK's answer to Beck, Gough has reined in many of his earlier musical eccentricities, streamlining his sound to resemble an English version of Elliott Smith, minus the extreme melancholy of that late performer.
