In line with the current trend of fusing many traditional and contemporary musical forms from around the world, Ori' presents a unique blend of six talented and seasoned musicians who collaborate and bring to bear their talents and abilities to create a voice you definitely want to hear. The name, Ori', is a word from the Yorubas of southwest Nigeria, West Africa, that refers to the 'little voice' that all of us have inside our heads that guides us on our life path. Ori', (oh-REE), is a new six piece music ensemble based in Indianapolis, IN, that focuses on contemporary popular music with an emphasis on Latin and Caribbean jazz.
