I have only been playing the guitar for a short while but after a life changing conversion I stopped playing for myself and started playing for the Lord. That song is about the feelings that I see when we sing to the Lord during 9 O’clock mass. Music has always been an outlet for my frustrations, sadness, joy, and any other emotions that overcome my life. My sister Libby is the female voice you hear on these songs and was the inspiration for “Drift Away”. The Lord has blessed me with a great family as well as the gift of music. I was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley and belong to Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church. “I come from Harlingen, Texas.
